The 475th Fighter Group is focused on teamwork. While we are big fans of the P-38 Lightning we do not actually require members fly any particular aircraft.

 

Here are our requirements:

 

Voice communication. Absolute necessity. If you can't at least listen to Teamspeak, you really can't participate effectively. Teamspeak is our virtual local pub and meeting place as well as the prime driver of our teamwork committment.

NO Whining! No public excuses for why you die. It is your own damn fault. That is the basis for becoming a better virtual fighter pilot. Taking responsibility for the bad decisions and or poor skills that lead to your virtual death. If you want to whine on Teamspeak amongst group members that is certainly allowed but be prepared for some brutally honest feedback.

Salute your victims and those who kick your butt.

We participate in Friday Squad Operations but it is NOT mandatory. If you decide to participate in Friday Squad Operations, you MUST be willing to come prepared each frame. No slackers.

 

We are all grown men. Check your paranoid delusions at the door. We are not your mom and won't hold your hand while you tell us why you can't manage to read and comprehend simple instructions. We WILL help you optimize your hardware, and give you access to ALL of the training to sharpen your skills to the razor edge but you MUST ask for help. 

 

Some of us have known each other for over a decade. We will seem rough and demanding but once you get past the exterior you will find we are all pretty rough and demanding on the inside too.

 

If you think you want to be a part of our merry band just ask!

Hey Guys, Outsider here,

I probably shouldnt be posting on your site but I just wanted to tell you that even though Im no longer with your squad, not because i didnt like it! . It is one of the best run squad if not the best, your techniques and cover is something for all squads to admire and learn from but more than that the reason I am posting is to express to the squad and any new prospect that may read this on what a fantastic bunch of guys make this squad up, and you carry yourselves with the utmost class at all times, true officiers, you guys make for great fights and more fun than anyone else in the game. Its a true pleasure to have flown with you and fight against you in the game. The squad always gives respect , even when the other player is not worthy , and from that you command respect which you guys deserve its always a pleasure and Im glad to know each and every one of you. < Salute > 475th keep leading by example and thanks for being the class act you guys are, Not to mention a great bunch of guys and friends in the game. Not to take away form anybody on the squad but " Dobs" has always been an outstanding rolemodel for the squad and the game to me and anybody else in the game that is a decent person with an ounce of sense. thanks again guys, hope I didnt overstep my bounds posting on your site but I feel credit should be given when credit is deserved. See ya in Game, Have Fun and Good luck.

No worries Outsider! If you want back in anytime just let us know. As you can tell we fly all hours, and have a small core group with numerous peripherals who fly when they can.

I know you are working on building your own group and we are more than happy to help.

We are always looking for folks to fly with or against and we hold fairly regular practice. If you ever want to come fly as Aggressors at a practice just let me know.
